FAQs
Do I need to purchase an SD card separately?
No. The MIOFIVE S1 comes with a free 32GB U3 microSD card. If you need more storage, it supports cards up to 512GB Class 10 U3.
Why can't I record with my dash cam?
You must insert a memory card before recording. Use a branded Class 10, U3 or higher microSD card (up to 512GB). Format the card in the camera before first use to ensure proper operation.
How do I format the SD card?
Go to Settings > More Settings > Format Memory Card > YES. Formatting erases all data, so back up important files first.
Why can't my phone connect to the MIOFIVE app via Wi-Fi?
Disable VPN, Bluetooth, cellular data, and security/antivirus apps. Also, authorize the app for location, Wi-Fi, and photos.
Is it normal for the dash cam to get hot?
Yes. Recording in true 4K generates heat, which is normal. The S1 passes a 70°C high-temperature test and runs reliably for 24 hours straight.
